Minnesota Retailers is proud to welcome Hy-Vee’s Dan Wolter as our new Chair of the Board of Directors. Elected by his peers during last Thursday’s Annual Meeting, Dan takes the helm from Marisa Wilson of Red Wing Shoes, whose exceptional leadership over the past two years has helped strengthen the organization and its mission to advance retail across Minnesota.

Dan brings a rich and diverse background to his new role, blending decades of experience in public service, government relations, and retail. As Hy-Vee’s government relations director, Dan oversees legislative engagement across Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, advocating for policies that promote economic growth and vibrant communities. Beyond his professional role, Dan also serves as a City Council Member in Lakeville, MN, having recently been elected following his initial appointment to the Council in 2023.
